Risk Disclosure
Last updated: July 8, 2026 (draft) · Draft status shown below
Futures trading risk
Futures and derivatives trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose more than your initial investment. Only risk capital — money you can afford to lose without changing your standard of living — should be used for trading. Nothing on this website or the NoTilt platform is a recommendation to trade futures or any other instrument.
Past performance
Past performance is not indicative of future results. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those displayed on any NoTilt leaderboard, record, or journal. Records on NoTilt display losses and drawdown alongside gains by design; the presence of a complete record does not make future results more predictable.
Hypothetical performance (CFTC Rule 4.41)
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program.
One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
Where a NoTilt surface displays results derived from strategy logs, simulated execution, or any source other than the actual fills of a funded brokerage account, those results are labeled accordingly and the disclosure above applies to them.
Copy-trading risks
Following a broadcaster copies their losing trades as well as their winning trades. Copy trading involves additional risks beyond ordinary trading, including without limitation: execution differences between the broadcaster's account and yours (slippage, partial fills, rejections, latency, contract substitution, and sizing differences); the possibility that a broadcaster's style, risk profile, or performance changes at any time without notice; technology interruptions between signal and execution; and the possibility that automated copying continues, or halts, at times you did not anticipate. You are responsible for the accounts you connect and for the rules of any proprietary-trading firm or broker whose accounts you trade — including whether copy trading is permitted on those accounts at all.
No investment advice; platform status
NoTilt is a technology platform. NoTilt does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice; does not manage customer funds; and does not hold customer positions. Broadcasters on the platform are independent traders, not employees or agents of NoTilt, and their trades are not recommendations. [Registration / exemption posture (CTA, NFA or otherwise) to be confirmed with counsel before launch].
Beta software
During beta, platform features — including copy routing, behavioral controls, and safety mechanisms — are under active development and may fail, behave unexpectedly, or change without notice. Do not use the beta with capital you cannot afford to lose.
